We are so grateful for the response we receive from our inspired readers who can’t get enough of our simple recipes, how to pics, and uncomplicated nutrition articles.

OUR WHOLE FOOD APPROACH

The food we eat is nutrient rich, full of antioxidants, delicious, and simple to make. It’s purpose is to fuel our bodies and hey, since it’s at the center of our plates each night – we might as well ENJOY it too. At Health Dish Nutrition, we appreciate the 80/20 approach – we have the tools to meet our goals most of the time. But we’re all about being flexible and leaving room for the “not so great all the time” food choices every so often.

And just for good measure – we do not believe in diets that causes anger, frustration, guilt, and all/nothing thinking. Food and nutrition is meant to be enjoyed, not feared!

Our recipes are made from simple, fresh ingredients and foods as close to their most natural state. If this is your first time here, you can expect a lot of quick/healthy recipes. The Cheesy Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas are on repeat at my house. The Greek Salad In A Jar With Chickpeas and Feta Cheese will save you meal prep time during the week. Our parents are Indian (South Asian/Punjabi), and we’re very inspired by our ethnic dishes so you’ll find recipes passed down to us but also influenced by our background in nutrition. Try the Authentic Tasting Healthy Butter Chicken! Or, Healthy Steamed Spicy Okra Curry – yum! Oh, and a few reader favorites? Try the Turkey Vegetable Kale Soup and Grilled Tandoori Chicken Wraps.
